Story
Marko (also spelled Marco for many years) is a Finnish bass player and singer[nbsp]born in 1966. Together with his brother,[nbsp]he founded[nbsp]Tarot. He also played bass in the Finnish band Sinergy, which he left in 2002 to join Nightwish as bassist and male vocalist. In 2019, he released his first solo album[nbsp]Mustan sydämen rovio, entirely sung in Finnish, before re-recording its English version in 2020. To promote this work, he toured all over Europe with his own band.
Marko left Nightwish in January 2021 due to personal reasons.[nbsp]In 2023, he started to tour as special guest for former Nightwish singer Tarja Turunen. During this tour, they appeared in each other's sets to cover Nightwish songs, among others.
